The panel is hosted by Education for Ministry (EfM) and the Diocese of Nebraska and starts at 9 AM on Saturday, Feb 15th from 9 AM to noon. Panelists include:
Dr. Daniel Murman, Professor in the Department of Neurological Sciences specializing in Memory Disorders at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He will provide a medicalexplanation of memory disorders, specifically on Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) and its implications for behavior changes.
David Grooters, Attorney and CPA at Pappajohn Law Firm in Mason City, IA. He will speak about protecting financial assets while providing for long term care for a loved one.
Rev. Lisa Aguilar: Episcopal priest who served as chaplain at the Nebraska Medical Center for 15 years. She will speak on how to build a team to provide spiritual care, how to find support resources, and will moderate the panel.
Deb Schrager, an AFTD trainer and facilitator, and Fr. Bob Kem, both of whom have a loved one with front temporal lobe dementia.
